Arrives Friday · tracking in your accounts
  1. Your agent sends you one link, and you sign in to Nook with your phone and connect your store accounts in one tap while your agent never sees what you type.

  2. Nook works through your signed-in account, finds the product, and reads the store's own checkout figures.

  3. You see the product, quantity, price, address and payment before anything is bought, and saved preferences fill only what a request leaves out.

  4. You approve in your own words in chat or with Buy on Nook's review page, and Nook presses the store's final order button once and reports the order number back.

For developers

Let agents finish real purchases in under 60 seconds, because Nook gives your agent one small API from quote to order, spoken as REST, MCP or ChatGPT plugins, so quotes, purchases, preferences and order status all go through the same few calls.

Each person connects their stores once through an authorized connection, which means your partner keys never become their credentials and your agent never sees what they type.

Any model that can call a tool can finish the checkout, because the connection belongs to the person and the protocol doesn’t care which model is driving.

See the first minute

For retailers

Agents that shop through Nook check out through your store’s own signed-in checkout, so agent traffic turns into real orders at the figures your checkout already shows.

Checkout Bench lets you see how your checkout does against different models, measured on real store checkouts rather than sample data.

You can also train a model on your own site, because Checkout Bench turns your sign-ins, carts and checkouts into graded tasks and learns from the runs that pass.

For shoppers

You sign in once with iMessage, because your phone number is your sign-in and one link connects every store you already use.

Nothing is bought until you approve it, whether you confirm in a word in chat or review every figure on the page first.

Every order sends you a receipt and alerts as it moves, so anything your agent buys stays traceable by you.

Introducing Checkout Bench

Checkout Bench is an evaluation of how well AI agents shop on real stores. Each task is a request written the way shoppers actually type, such as “can you get me the dji mic mini thing from amazon,” and the agent carries it out inside a real, signed-in store account in a fresh cloud browser that is thrown away after the run. Every run stops before payment, and the final cart is graded in code for the right item, the right quantity and a total under the price cap, along with whether the agent asked when the request was genuinely unclear, so no model is asked to judge another. We built it because shopping agents tend to fail quietly on variants, sign-ins and checkout steps that only a real store exposes, and a benchmark that never reaches those steps cannot measure them.

Checkout Bench, working draft of Oct 25, 2026 · 6 stores with a full cart and total (Amazon, Uber Eats, Instacart, Walmart, Target, Chewy) · 458 lab runs from Sep 26 to Oct 25, 2026 · graded in code, nothing bought

Introducing Checkout Bench

Checkout Bench runs every model through the same shopping requests on real, signed-in store accounts and grades the final cart in code, and its leaderboard ranks models by how often they finish a request correctly across the six stores that return a full cart and total.

Introducing Checkout Bench

Checkout Bench measures how well AI agents shop on real stores, and it rests on three decisions about what a task is, how a run is scored and why the result is worth trusting.

What a task is

A task is one request written the way shoppers type, paired with the products that count as correct or a note that the right move is to ask, and the agent works on it inside a real, signed-in store account in a fresh cloud browser.

How it’s scored

Code checks the final cart for the right item, the right quantity and a total under the price cap, then confirms that the run stopped before payment and nothing was bought, so no model is ever asked to grade another model.

Why it matters

Shopping agents rarely fail loudly, because a wrong size, a stalled sign-in or a checkout step they can’t read simply ends the sale, so measuring on real checkouts shows where each model gets stuck before shoppers find out.
